Message from the Chairman of ExCom and the CEO of Insurope

Multinational pooling exists because the world does not stand still. Markets evolve, workforces become more global, and expectations around employee benefits continue to rise.

Progress in this environment depends on the ability to adapt, to collaborate, and to think beyond traditional boundaries. Since the creation of the Insurope Network nearly six decades ago, we’ve been building and expanding in unique ways that are designed to support Network Members, clients, and brokers through shifting markets, and a global benefits landscape that gets more complex by the day. In recent years, we’ve accelerated this momentum, working to deepen Network Member engagement, strategically adding new members and improving our collective ability to support multinational companies wherever they operate.

At the same time, Insurope has continued to help Network Members grow locally by supporting the development of relationships with multinational clients. One of the defining strengths of our Network is our service-oriented mindset, reflected in the connection between Insurope and our Network Members. Our structure encourages active participation through the General Assembly, Sales Meeting, Technical Committee, and Sales and Marketing Committee. These forums allow ideas to be exchanged openly and enable the Network to evolve together in a practical and meaningful way.

Our strategy remains focused on multinational pooling and on delivering market-leading products and services. Over the past several years, we have implemented significant improvements and introduced a more targeted marketing approach to increase awareness of pooling and strengthen the Insurope brand. At the same time, we continue to take actions to be more innovative and ensure the sustainability of our portfolio. The results of this focus are clear.

The market is taking notes and 2025 was a remarkable year. Grounded in our values of being opportunistic, service oriented, caring, humble, leaders, Insurope continues to deliver strong results and strengthen our position as THE Premier Multinational Pooling Network. In fact, last year we doubled the number of new multinational pools and pooled premiums from 5 years ago and continue to see a renewed interest and surge since the pandemic in the solutions that Insurope offers.

As such, we maintained our position as the largest pooling network in the world, measured by both the number of multinational pools and pooled local plans.
